Battersea runs from the park's grand Victorian terraces, through the tight artisan streets of the Shaftesbury Park Estate — a conservation area of small, uniform cottages — to the Victorian and Edwardian houses of the Sisters and Northcote Road, and on to the towers and warehouse conversions of Nine Elms and the riverside.
