Kitchen Renovation in London

Design-led kitchens delivered as a complete project — structural openings, services, bespoke joinery, appliances and finishing — by one team, on one programme.

Completed London kitchen — hero shot

More than fitting cabinets

In most London homes, a kitchen renovation is really a small building project. The best results usually involve rethinking the space itself: opening the kitchen to the dining room, borrowing light from a side return, moving drainage and gas, adding extraction that actually works, and upgrading the electrical supply for modern appliances.

We handle all of it — the structural opening and steelwork, first-fix plumbing and electrics, underfloor heating, plastering, cabinetry, worktop templating, appliance integration, tiling and decoration — so the design intent survives all the way to the finished room. Where the project grows into a side-return or rear extension, the same team takes it on.

Cabinetry can be bespoke, made by our joiners, or a quality manufactured range fitted and scribed properly to period walls that are rarely square.

How much does a kitchen renovation cost in London?

The range is wide because the scope varies so much: a like-for-like refit is a different project from a structural open-plan kitchen with bespoke cabinetry. After a site visit we provide an itemised, fixed-scope quotation covering building work, cabinetry, appliances and finishing separately — so you can see and adjust each part.

Our guide covers the drivers in detail: kitchen renovation costs in London.

Kitchen renovation FAQs

How long does a kitchen renovation take?

A straightforward refit typically runs a few weeks on site; a structural open-plan project runs longer. Lead times for cabinetry and worktops matter as much as the build itself, so we sequence ordering into the programme from day one.

Can we live at home during the work?

Usually yes. We set up a temporary kitchen where possible, protect adjacent rooms, and agree working hours and access up front.

Do you supply the kitchen or fit ours?

Either. We design and supply complete kitchens, build bespoke cabinetry in our joinery workshop, or install a kitchen you have purchased — always with the same building and finishing standards.

Does a kitchen renovation need planning permission?

Rarely for internal work, though structural alterations need building regulations approval, and extensions or listed properties bring consent requirements. We advise at the design stage and manage approvals.
